  • Started classical ballet at 3 years old, all through until the age of sixteen: danced until the obtention of pointe shoes, while also exploring other styles of dances like; hip-hop, lyrical, advanced ballet, and more.

  • Explored many adgacent performing arts: theater, acting/voice over acting, and mostly “improvisation” which was her favorite.

  • 30 years of planting her feet on various stage types, from very intimate venues, to professional set-ups, and even cat walks on television (Canadian Idol, Star Academie, The Voice, modeled for Addition-Elle, and more…)

  • Performed with many bands, within an array of different musical styles from the age of fifteen, and never stoped since…

  • Plays piano, drums & an array of different percussion - ongoingly student of Brigette Ross & Paul Mason

  • Lead, managed & booked an 8 to 10 piece Neo-Soul band called The Soulux Band.

  • Has given training in multiple businesses for differen purposes, and has spoken in front of smaller & larger crowds quite often.

    Classical (Opera), Pop, Jazz, Soul & R&B, Disco, Rock, Blues, Musical Theater, Rap & Hip-Hop, Latin, Country, Electronic, Folk, Dance, Reggea, Punk Rock, World Music in other languages (Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, and more), has also explored many of these styles fused together (fusions)…

  • Has spent considerable amounnts of time in various music studio types, recording songs of all kinds, helping other vocalists during the recording process, and for various purposes:

    Collab with Blue Light Studio, VAMS Studio at GF Strong, and in various private studios

  • Extensive knowledge & comprehension of the mechanics of the voice

  • Cumulation of efective cognitive strategies (psychology behind singing & performing): NLP, CBT, Tomatis Method, and more…

Born and raised in the heart of Quebec and now based in Vancouver’s Lower Mainland British-Colombia, Ysabelle has been genuinely dedicating her time and energy to the continuous study of music, and deeply feels it is her vocation, whether as a voice & performance instructor or as a vocalist & performer, to share the power that music can truly bring in one’s daily life.

Ysabelle took a leap of faith in 2016, and traveled across Canada with a strong inner knowing that this new journey would allow further growth of her artistic career, dreams & goals. Since she relocated to BC officially, she has put an incredible amount of work towards growing consistently, perfecting her personal skills as a singer, performer, lyricist, percusionist and musician, but also as a band leader and as an educator for Long & McQuade Musical Instruments Langley.

Steadily mastering her craft and pursuing education, her authenticity, resilience, passion and inner fire, have allowed her to be involved in many artistic projects where she performed with various bands and artists of all kinds, in public & private events, singing competitions, fundraisers, reality TV shows, and much more.
